Why I created this course?

Vicky .jpg

When my daughter, Rose, was first diagnosed with autism, I felt overwhelmed, confused, and unsure of what the future would hold.

I was repeatedly told by professionals that there was little I could do, that her challenges were permanent, and that I should prepare for a lifetime of intensive support and care.

While I respected the expertise of those advising me, I felt there had to be more I could do to support Rose’s health, development, and quality of life.

That belief led me to begin my own journey of learning.

I immersed myself in research, education, and practical application, exploring a wide range of approaches and carefully observing what did and did not make a meaningful difference for my family. The process was not straightforward. There were challenges, setbacks, and lessons learned along the way. Over time, however, clarity began to emerge.

Today, Rose is functioning at a level I was once told would not be possible. This experience has shaped my commitment to share what I have learned with other families who are seeking informed, supportive, and practical guidance.

This course brings together the foundational methods I found to be the most effective in supporting positive change. It is designed to help families navigate the early stages with greater confidence, reduce overwhelm, and focus their time and energy on approaches that truly matter.

I created this resource because I know how isolating and confusing the early days can feel. We intend to provide clear, thoughtful guidance rooted in lived experience, so you can move forward feeling informed, supported, and empowered.
